The Pin Your Own Bug Box is everything you need to rehydrate, spread, and pin your very own butterfly specimens, no experience required. Just a little patience, a little curiosity, and a willingness to slow down and really look at something beautiful.

Each box is packed by hand and sealed with care, wrapped in our signature botanical tissue paper and ready to open like a little gift to yourself or someone you love. Inside you'll find two dried butterfly specimens ready to be brought back to life, along with everything you need to pin and display them once they're ready.

Step by step instructions for both rehydrating and pinning are included in every box, so you're never on your own.

All specimens in Empoorium are ethically sourced and handled with deep intention. This kit ships in recyclable packaging.

Each box includes:
2 ethically sourced dried butterfly specimens (future boxes will have different specimens!)
1 pinning board
Stainless steel insect pins
Pinning tweezers
Glass slides
Glassine paper
Small display frame with stretch silicone backing and stand
Rehydrating and pinning instruction cards
