Dante - Dead Leaf Butterfly Botanical Coffin Display

The Dead Leaf Butterfly is one of nature's most remarkable illusionists, his underwings a near-perfect imitation of a dried, weathered leaf. But open those wings and there it is: a sweep of deep amber, rich black, and the softest shimmer of blue iridescence, a secret the forest floor has been keeping all along.

He rests in a coffin-shaped glass display box, nestled among preserved green moss, dried white baby's breath, curling preserved vines, dried red florals, and soft blush blooms. It is a fitting home for a creature who has always lived between the living and the gone, and who reminds us that transformation is never really what it looks like on the outside.
