Sage has been here before. The red fox knows every path through the wood, every shortcut between this world and the next, and she carries that knowing even now, jaw open mid-sentence, still with something left to say. Tyme chose her, the way butterflies always seem to know exactly where to land. Perched at the crown of Sage's skull, wings spread wide in a sweep of translucent green and burnt orange, she is the living world come to rest on the gone one. Together they are a complete thought.
In life, Tyme used her vivid green wings as a disguise, mimicking the distasteful Malachite butterfly to fool predators. A survivor dressed as someone else. Sage would have appreciated that kind of cleverness. They are nestled together on a lichen-draped branch, surrounded by preserved green moss, set against a deep black backing in a warm walnut-toned triangular wooden frame. There is nothing else quite like this one.
All specimens in the Empoorium are ethically sourced and handled with deep intention. Sage and Tyme ship carefully packaged in recyclable materials, ready to find their forever home on your wall, your altar, or anywhere that needs a little magic.
